Deliverables

Produce a system requirements report. This report is for an app for a smartphone to support the needs of the organisation described in the case study – PredatorFree T222. The following information must be included in the report:

  1. An executive summary explaining the contents of the report.
  2. A statement of scope that explains the purpose of the app, who will benefit from the app, and the main business requirements for the new system.
  3. A use-case diagram for the system.
  4. Full functional requirements for the system. Provide the requirements in a numbered list.
  5. Full non-functional requirements for the system. Provide the requirements in a numbered list.
  6. A list of system stakeholders stating their interest in the system. Put this analysis in a table.
  7. A domain class diagram for the system including classes, attributes, associations, and multiplicity. Show inheritance hierarchies if necessary.
  8. A prototype sketch of the main page of the new app. Draw this by hand in pen or dark pencil. Photograph the sketch and insert the photograph into your report as a figure.

Notes

  • The functional and non-functional requirements of the server network and its administration systems are outside the scope of this assignment.
  • The report must be to business standard (appropriate fonts and font size, a bit like this assignment description). Each section must have a brief explanation of the purpose of the section. Each table and figure (model or diagram) in the report must include a brief description of its purpose and a reference to the figure in the text.
  • All figures and tables should have a numbered caption (in MS Word, click on the table or figure and use References | Insert caption.
  • This assignment is carried out individually, not in groups.

Produce all UML models using Visual Paradigm. You are strongly advised to create initial sketches on paper before proceeding to use the diagramming tool.
